Although Mallorca is not immediately known as a golfer's resort, the island does have no less than 17 golf courses to choose from.
These courses are spread out all over the island so you will never really be far from one. They are more than often set amid pine trees and olive groves so that the golfer can also enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The courses are excitingly varied from the rolling hills of Golf de Andratx to the sea level fairways of the Poniente Course. Many famous faces choose Mallorca to practice their favourite sport including Michael Douglas, Jack Nicholson and the football coaches Benjamin Toshack and Johan Cruyff. They are clear exponents of the fascination awaiting in the golf courses of Mallorca.
In the South East of Mallorca, in the municipality of Felanitx, just 7 kms from Cala D'or and 2 kms from Porto Colom, you will find the GOLF VALL D'OR. This is a pretty course which offers visitors a friendly welcome and no handicap is required to play.
